W.B. Yeats: the power of imagination.
When Angelo Branduardi came to visit the lake
isle of Innisfree, Ireland, he was sure to find
the beauty of the descriptions, so well
translated into music in the Album "Branduardi
canta Yeats" published in 1986.
He was surprised when he found, instead, a dark
rock, only a nude rock, but the power of
imagination, that was given by the lyrics of
William Butler Yeats, has repainted that
isle like a paradise, and so it will be for
ever. A miracle.
